What are trapped emotions?
The renowned holistic physician and lecturer Dr. Bradley Nelson reveals in his book "The Emotion Code" how emotionally-charged events from your past can still be haunting you in the form of "trapped emotions". These trapped emotions are emotional energies that literally inhabit your body. They can fester in your life and body, and not only influence your mind and impact how you think. Trapped emotions can even create pain, malfunction and eventually lead to a serious disease such as cancer.
But why is that so? Emotions are, as everything, made of pure energy. When this energy is trapped in your body, it interacts with the part of your body it is trapped it. That way, it disturbs the natural frequency of the body part it is trapped in, and begins to manifest a form of emotional or physical issue.
Why should you release your trapped emotions?
As you can see, emotional energies are very powerful and can impact your health. Moreover, they do influence your success in life, and the level of abundance you are able to achieve. So it is not only about the education you have, or how hard you try to achieve something. If your inner "program" is working against you, you will never be able to release 100% of your potential.
As revealed by Dr. Nelson, emotions can be trapped over years, and lead to behavioral patterns or diseases no one can reveal the true source of the harm. Usually, the only way such problems are treated with are pills. As The Emotion Code Therapy is not yet used by many therapeutists, it is unlikely a doctor will try to search for trapped emotions to find out where the dog is buried. However, there are good news. In his book, Dr. Nelson introduces a very simple and effective method how you can get rid of your trapped emotions by yourself at home, and without any special or expensive equipment. The only things you need is are your body and a magnet.
How does the Emotion Code work?
The Emotion Code is based on using muscle testing (also known as applied kinesiology), which shows the body’s reaction to a thought or a question in the weakening or strengthening of its muscles. By using this technique, you will get a “yes” or “no” answers from your body, and you can use it to get information about imbalances that are causing emotional or physical problems.

In many cases this works, because all the information about our body is stored in the subconscious mind, which makes up about 95% of our mind. Our subconscious mind stores all information like a back up disc, and also controls things like your breathing, heartbeat, etc. without you actively thinking of it. That way, your unconscious mind also knows about everything that does not align with the state of a healthy body.
For example, your subconscious knows that the argument with your teacher in 2008 is causing your back pain today, even if you no longer remember this old event. With the muscle test, you can reveal this issue and actively release the trapped emotion. Most likely, the back pain will go away immediately. As you can see, the Emotion Code is very fascinating and allows us to access and deal with information, and old emotions, that we never would consciously think of and thus be able to treat it right.
