Each person is gifted with a talent. This talent often shows up in the early age when children’s mind is free of prejudice and deprived of society’s influence. As kids, we do what we want and what we feel ourselves interested in. We are not afraid of trying, since we purely follow our passion. In these times, it is extremely important to pay enough attention to children and to support the emerging talent which shows up through playing and fun. Parents play a key role in this. Their support and care shaped champions and artists, scientists and activists who made the world a better place to live. However, this article is not about giving advice on how to bring up kids.
Here we would like to talk about two talented people who have been showing a deep interest in painting from the very childhood, but at some point, stopped following the passion. This story is about French student Alban Parpay and Ukrainian accountant Viktoria Kudko and their way back to the art.

As they were kids, both of them liked painting and occupied themselves with pencils and coloring papers all day long. Viktoria’s nursemaid and Alban’s mother timely noticed children’s admiration by painting and did their best in developing their talent. Both ladies were professionals in art and provided kids with first lessons on how to draw and to turn their imagination onto paper.
In school times, Viktoria was visiting classes of Ukrainian traditional drawing style which is called “Petrykivsky Rospys”.

At that time, Alban was also visiting classes of traditional art. His pictures participated in many exhibitions of junior artists within France and were pointed out with positive feedbacks from many mature professionals. However, as time passed, Viktoria as well as Alban got occupied with a lot of school studies what forced drawing classes to shift to the second place.
“In teenagehood, students at school have a lot of pressure. This time is full of changes and extreme in terms of the influence of adults who try to impose their opinion on young minds and to bring them on the way which seems to be the best from their perspective”, says Alban.
It was the time when Alban and Viktoria gave up on drawing and determined themselves to follow a life path that is well-accepted in society.
After many years of realizing the expectations of others, Viktoria and Alban came back to the point when they want to do what brings them fun and joy. And this fun and joy they find in art and drawing.
“For me as an accountant with 6-year experience of course it is quite risky to abandon my profession and to fully plunge into the world of art and drawing. However, I set up the goals which I aim to achieve, and one of them is to become an art specialist. Meanwhile, I attend various art courses and read respective literature what is essential to make a transfer from the profession I have to the profession of my dream”, says Viktoria.

Alban finds himself in the last semester of his studies with a major in business administration. And as most stressful moments of his studies have already passed by, his mind comes back to the original state of desire which goes along with art and drawing.
“I have renewed my drawing activity and have plenty of ideas which I would like to realize. One of them is to draw new paintings and to

share them with others. For that, I created an Instagram page where I publish my works. I also aim to make a website where I can gain a better reach and bring to life my own projects that I want to combine with art and drawing”, says Alban.
Both of our heroes see art as the possibility to create their own world and to make their imagination come true. Drawing provides them with limitless space where they can bring up the most extraordinary ideas and make them part of the real world. This freedom makes a fertile ground for thriving creativity which is peculiar for them.

To come up with a decision to follow passion is obviously hard, especially when you have done so much in other spheres in order to reach the important level of security and comfort. It is definitely super risky all of a sudden to give up on everything achieved and to blindly let yourself in the sphere you are passionate about. On top of this, people tend to think as maximalists and want to achieve something great just in one big step. However, not everyone understands that big steps require a lot of tries and energy. Without necessary preparation and knowledge, it is very easy to fail what provokes low self-esteem and giving up on dreams that everybody has.
Alban and Viktoria found for themselves the solution to this problem. They recommend a technique of making small steps which are leading to a big ultimate goal everyone has in mind.
Small steps are easier to make. They do not require an excessive amount of energy and help to develop consistency which is essential in reaching every single goal. Therefore, it is easier to make them in a good way and to accomplish the desired result. It provides us with the necessary portion of motivation and confidence in our choices. It also makes us invigorated to go further all the way up to the dream.
Both Alban and Viktoria are working on their goals consistently by following the technique of small steps to make their dreams come true.
We patiently follow the life path of Alban and Viktoria and wish them all the best on the way to their goals!!!
Do you think that you can be good enough in something that brings you joy? Do not be afraid to try yourself in it and start from the small steps! We assure you that at the end the desired goal is waiting for you!!!
Yours,
